When we bought our first home, I knew automatically that I wanted to redo the backyard into a more livable space. After taking out the walking stones and tanbark, a dug out as much of the dirt as I could, then leveled the ground out with rock and sand. I utilized paver base panels for added strength before laying the pavers.
I decided to redo the garage wall in faux brick to display a lot of my signs and art that needed to be in a "man-cave" type setting.
I created an entryway ledge with a board and two pieces of molding. I used multiple stain colors to give it a real driftwood look.
